At GolfOpens.co.uk, our mission is to help grow the amateur game in the UK & Ireland by connecting golfers and clubs to create memorable on-course experiences.
We exist to help grow the amateur game and provide easy access to competitive and fun golf up and down the country, while supporting and promoting the thousands of clubs around the country.
This website is run by two amateur golfers from Scotland who have held a deep love of the game since a very young age. While our dreams of ever reaching professional heights have long since disappeared, our passion for competitive and fun amateur golf remains.
We wanted to encourage more amateur players to experience new courses, play competitive golf, and make new friendships – and so, GolfOpens.co.uk was born.
Through our partnership with hundreds of clubs around in Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland, we aim to bring you every single open competition across these isles and make it easy to search, book and play.
